CO-ART project in support of CCS sector to face COVID-19 pandemic

Culture is a fundamental source for Europe and contributes to EU social cohesion; it brings European societies together and shapes their common future. Speaking in economic terms, this sector contributes 4.2% of the EU GDP and 7.4 million jobs created.

As the Culture Action Europe Department reports, COVID-19 has affected the cultural and creative, bringing more precariousness and situations of inequity. Facing destitution, many professionals may leave the sector and thousands of institutions may close. With them, accumulated knowledge and skills would be permanently lost, and the cultural and creative ecosystem would be profoundly weakened.

This is a process that needs to be addressed and stopped. CO-ART project is committed to face this situation, enhancing skills of the youth workers in the CCS sector. By the end of January 2022, CO-ART Escape Rooms will be finalized and, after the project Transnational Partners Meeting in Greece, people will have the possibility to benefit from them, acquiring new skills in entrepreneurial and digital terms.

Are you a CCS worker or do you have any interest or link with this working sector? Don’t hesitate to contact CO-ART partnership by social media or by the website contact section https://co-artproject.eu/contact/.
